We're proud to share that OzKleen Asia Pacific has won the Family Business category at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards for July 2026. The category was sponsored by the Queensland Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business.
For us, this recognition reflects what we've continued to build here on the Gold Coast over more than three decades.
A Family Business Built Over 35 Years
We started making cleaning products on the Gold Coast 35 years ago, and the way we work today still traces back to those beginnings. What began as a family enterprise has grown into a manufacturer whose products are found in homes around the country, and through it all, the business has stayed in the same hands. It is still owned and run by the Quinn family.
Today the first and second generations of the family run the business together from our factory and office in Ormeau. This legacy means that the people who built OzKleen from the ground up still work alongside the generation now shaping where it goes next. Our grandchildren are already getting their first experience of the business through work experience, and we like knowing the next chapter is being written by people who grew up with it.
A family name on the door only tells part of the story. Alongside the Quinn family is a team of employees who have stayed with us for the long haul, some of them approaching 20 years.
This recognition belongs to all of it: the family who started and still lead the business, the team who make it run, and the customers who keep choosing our products. For us, it is a reminder that a business built patiently, on local manufacturing and long-standing relationships, still earns its place.
